Customers who purchased cards in September 2007 can get free replacements before they expire.
Registered holders will be notified online or by mail.
Customers who have not registered can check their expiration date in person at the CTA Sales Center at 567 W. Lake Street, by phone at 888-YOUR-CTA (888-968-7282) or online at www.chicago-card.com/cc and then register to avoid losing unused balances.
