Sleep texting is when you text someone when you are sleepy, awoken from sleep or just not paying attention. Similar to sleep walking or sleep eating, experts say occurrences of sleep texting are becoming more common.

Doctors say the best thing someone can do to avoid sleep texting is to create a safe sleep environment and keep cell phones out of reach at bedtime.
