Blago retrial jurors talk about possible sentence

November 13, 2011 (CAROL STREAM, Ill.)

Six jurors and two alternates gathered in Carol Stream to talk about their work weighing the evidence in the case. They say that the taped conversations of the former governor, along with his own testimony on the stand, were key to their finding him guilty on 18 counts.

Though they say they did not consider a possible sentence during the trial, they did talk about it Sunday night.

"In my head, I think they're looking 10 to 12 (years) based on what our other former governor had," said jury foreperson Connie Wilson.

"It was emotionally trying but you have put that aside and just say, 'OK, here's the facts. Here's what we have to do,'" said juror Jessica Hubinek.

A number of jurors told ABC7's Paul Meincke that they are planning to attend the Blagojevich's sentencing on December 6.
