There's a new push to get all of Indiana onto the Central Time Zone.

A new resolution is headed to the Indiana statehouse this week.

The group responsible is called The Central Time Zone Commission. Members argue that morning darkness puts many Indiana schoolchildren in danger.

Organizers claim to have 3,000 signatures in support of the switch.

Opponents say Indiana geographically belongs in the Eastern Time Zone.
