A report of smoke on a CTA Blue Line train prompted a big response by the Chicago Fire Department Sunday morning.

Power was shut off in both directions between Clark and Lake and the Grand and Milwaukee stops as crews investigated.

Passengers were evacuated from the stations as a precaution.

The CTA has not said what caused the smoke.
