An organizer of the upcoming protests against the NATO summit, Andy Thayer, says the debate will take place at 6 p.m. May 17 at the Pritzker Military Library.
Thayer says he along with another organizer will debate James Appathurai, the Deputy Assistant Secretary General to NATO's Political Affairs and Security Policy, and former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Nicholas Burns.
The summit itself takes place May 20 and 21.
