Police say they were responding to a call in the 3100-block of West 84th Place Wednesday night. Police say when they approached a group of men, one of them started to run.
Then, police say, he pointed a weapon at an officer, so the officer shot the suspect. He was taken into custody.
There was no word on his condition. No police were hurt.
