Des Plaines PD: Man tried to run down cops before death

That's according to our news partners at the Daily Herald.

Police shot 44-year-old Carlos Salgado in a strip mall parking lot. The officers were treated at a local hospital.

Salgado's wife has filed a federal lawsuit against the officers.
