PSAE, ACT scores improving at Chicago schools

Newly release figures from the 2012 Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) show 31 percent meet or exceed the composite score, which is an increase of nearly 3 percent over last year, the largest growth on record.

Chicago Public Schools also saw the highest composite ACTscore on record at 17.6.

Kennedy High School on the city's Southwest Side saw the largest growth in the district in both the PSAE and ACT.
