It's the fifteenth anniversary of the world's most famous 'little blue pill'.

The food and drug administration approved Viagra for sale as a treatment for male impotence on March 27, 1998.

Scientists at Pfizer accidentally created the drug while working to develop a pill that would treat high blood pressure and heart problems.

Early tests found it didn't help either one but it did have an interesting side effect.

Patients reported increased libidos after taking it.
