Thursday was the ribbon cutting for The Grant at Woodland Park at 61st and Cottage Grove.
These new mixed-income apartments were made possible in part by a $30.5 million federal grant.
Woodlawn Park was one of eight redevelopment projects across the nation to receive the grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
