Roundy's, the owners of Mariano's, is looking to hire nearly 600 people for its new Northfield and Park Ridge locations.
The stores were formerly Dominick's Stores, which all shut down in the Chicago area last month.
One job seeker we spoke with says both he and his wife are looking for work.
With eight kids to care for he is hopeful he will be hired.
"I gotta step it up a bit," said Jermaine Crawford. "I was pretty much the house mom, on the side DJ'ing on the weekends, that'll mean a lot for me to get this job."
Both full and part time jobs are available.
