Christian Piekos
Christian Piekos joined ABC 7 Eyewitness News in June, 2022 as a general assignment reporter.

Joining Chicago's number one news station gave Piekos a welcome and exciting opportunity to return to his roots. He was born in Evanston, raised on the North Shore, and even grew up watching ABC 7.

Prior to ABC 7, Piekos served reporter and fill-in anchor at KSLA-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana Piekos also worked as an anchor and reporter at KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana as well as a broadcast associate at CBS News in New York, where he helped coordinate logistics for guests appearing on "CBS This Morning."

A graduate of New Trier Township High School in 2012, Piekos went on to graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.

While in Columbia, Missouri, Piekos worked at KOMU-TV, both anchoring the weekend evenings and producing several weekday newscasts.
