Weight gain in middle age expected but dangerous

New evidence finds putting on the pounds later in life and a change in body composition can increase the risk of diabetes.

Gaining weight and losing lean muscle to fat and having that fat shift to the waist and hips play a big part in increasing the risk.

Results of these new findings are in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association and here's what the researcher is telling the journal.
