Vigil held for murdered storeowner

A vigil was held Monday night for a man who was gunned down inside his Chicago store Saturday.

Hundreds came to honor 59-year-old Bassam Naoum. Candles were lit and the crowd was told how the man known as "Ollie" supported the community.

Naoum was shot six times in the back inside his near North Side store. Police say robbery was probably not the motive because he was still wearing an expensive watch and there was money in the cash register.

Basoum was a Jordanian immigrant who came to this country 40 years ago.
