Federal authorities arrested a Chicago teenager Tuesday in connection with bomb threats allegedly made to Western Illinois University last month.

Eighteen-year-old Cameron McKoy now faces several federal charges.

Over the past few weeks, there have been six threats either telephoned or delivered in notes to several residence halls on the Macomb campus of WIU. McKoy has been charged in one of those threats.

Several buildings were evacuated, but no bombs were found.

McKoy was scheduled to appear in federal court Tuesday in Peoria.
