Avon's walk series is celebrating in nine cities that will host walks. In Chicago, people planned to mark the anniversary with a party at Macy's on State Street at 11 a.m.
The party will reflect on Chicagoans' contributions to breast cancer research over the past decade.
The actual breast cancer walk will be in June.
