Man killed in Blue Island hit-and-run; John Douglas, 43, died of injuries after struck on Vermont Street

February 15, 2014 (BLUE ISLAND, Ill.)

It happened Friday night around ten on Vermont Street just east of Western Avenue.

Forty-three-year-old John Douglas died of injuries suffered when he was struck.

Police say a dark colored pickup truck was spotted leaving the scene.

Anyone with information on the crash should call Blue Island Police.
