A new study released by the National Center for Addiction and Substance Abuse says adolescent substance abuse is the No. 1 public health problem in this country.

The top four substances teens are using: alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and prescription drugs.

The report says parents need to tell teens about the dangers which these substances can pose.

It also says the media should stop making alcohol, tobacco and other drugs look enticing.
