Marriage might be healthier for adults

A new study finds marriage appears to reduce the risk of heart attacks for both men and women.

Other studies have shown this but most of those studies were only among men.

This study included both sexes and found unmarried men were up to 66-percent more likely to have a heart attack.

For single women the risk was up to 65-percent.

There are a lot of reasons why this may hold true but researchers say one of them is that married people may live healthier lives and be more social.
