Sentencing date set for Mike Madigan in corruption case
A sentencing date has been set for June 13 for former Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan after he was found guilty on 10 counts in a corruption case.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A sentencing date has been set for former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.

Madigan will face his sentencing for his corruption charges June 13.

Madigan was convicted last month on 10 counts of bribery, conspiracy and wire fraud charges.

He faces as many as 20 years in prison for the most serious charges, but it's likely he'll get far less, if any, prison time at all.

Madigan has not yet filed for an appeal.
