Economy forces some to skip healthcare

A growing number of Americans say they are going without medications their doctors have prescribed. More say they are not paying for health insurance and doctor's appointments.

Experts say it creates a vicious cycle because patients who wait too long to seek healthcare cost more to treat.

Some free clinics in the U.S. are seeing up to 15 percent more patients this year.
