Commute delayed after person struck on Green Line

September 21, 2011 (CHICAGO)

A person was struck and killed by a westbound train near the Pulaski stop at around 8:45 during Wednesday's morning's rush hour.

Police say the victim is a 43-year-old man but have not released his identity.

Power had to be shutdown along the line for about an hour and a half.

Service along the line was restored by 10:30 a.m.
